A MIR picture received with Chromapix

This is a picture from the MIR spacestation

The MIR sometimes transmits SSTV pictures in the Robot 36 mode in FM on 145.985 MHz. You can receive the MIR with an ordinary vertical omnidirectional antenne when the MIR passes your QTH.

The above pictures from the MIR are showing the Progress-M40 freighter. The Progress should unfold a solarreflector in space that would reflect sunlight to earth. The experiment failed.

This is a picture of the progress-M40 flying away from the MIR.

This very nice picture from the MIR.
